Orbit   Gray Pump Start Relay

The pump start relay is engineered to synchronize an irrigation pump with an irrigation controller. It is effective for a variety of water sources, including wells, ponds, and bore holes. 24 VAC leads connect the controller to the relay. It is capable of actuating 120 VAC pumps up to 1HP and 230 VAC pumps up to 2HP. The enclosure is constructed from durable, water resistant plastic. The pump start relay is compatible with irrigation controllers from Orbit, Hydro-Rain, and other major brands. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.

Orbit   White Wired Rain and Freeze Sensor

The wired rain and freeze sensor is engineered to automatically detect rainfall or low temperature conditions and turn off the irrigation controller until normal watering conditions return. It has water-absorbing disks which expand when wet, causing the controller to suspend watering. When the disks dry out and contract the controller returns to the normal watering schedule. It is adjustable so you can change the threshold for triggering a delay. It uses a thermistor to detect low temperatures and similarly suspends and restarts watering. You will typically mount the sensor on an eave or other open air area, and a wire runs up to 30 feet to the rain sensor port of the irrigation controller. Compatible with 24 VAC controllers from Orbit, Hydro-Rain, and other major irrigation brands.

Orbit   Black Replacement Transformer (for Indoor Sprinkler Controllers)

A key characteristic of indoor sprinkler controllers is that the transformer is a “wall-wart” plug-in style as opposed to being internal to the controller. It is relatively uncommon for a transformer to fail, but if it does then this transformer will get you up and running again. The input is 110 VAC and the output is 24 VAC which is standard for pump relays and solenoids in North America. The 750mA capacity makes it capable of simultaneously powering two valve solenoids or one pump relay and one valve solenoid. If you need to install an indoor controller and transformer in an outdoor location, then we recommend installing it in the outdoor sprinkler controller cabinet. This transformer is compatible with 750mA max indoor controllers from Orbit, Hydro-Rain, and other major brands.

The Orbit 57095 outdoor cabinet converts an indoor sprinkler controller for outdoor use. The box is constructed with tough, weather- and UV-resistant ABS resin and features predrilled mounting holes for easy installation. The spacious interior accommodates a large variety of timers (timer sold separately) and measures 10-3/4 in. W x 9-1/4 in. H x 3-1/4 in D. Keyed lock prevents tampering. UL-approved GFCI receptacle helps reduce the risk of electric shock. Compatible with indoor controllers from Orbit, Hydro-Rain, and other major brands.
