Orbit Hose Thread Drip Irrigation Pressure Regulator

Works well keeps pressure constant.

Won't last = flood

I purchased 2 of these on Jun 22, 2026. A few days ago I discovered that I had a massive water leak in front of the house and the plants were dying from lack of water. I don't know how long this was going on. The reason was this pressure reducer, which cracked. The other one is "in the process of cracking" - in the same spot as this first one, see picture. I'm glad I caught this before another fiasco. It's not even 3 months from purchase to failure - unacceptable. On the other side of the house ...

Don’t buy this

Terrible product. Treads would not work with its mating part.

It's ok.

It does great regulating the pressure for my drip system. Before I used it, my drip emitters would occasionally blow out. Using this fixed that problem completely, and I haven't had any more issues with blown emitters since then. The only issue with the regulator is it leaks. I wanted to use it before my 4 zone timer, but because it leaks, I couldn't. Thankfully, I was able to rearrange my layout so the regulator is only pressurized while the zone is running rather than all the time.

Easy setup

It was easy to set up and it works as we expected.

Good part.

No leak but the thread was a challenge. Pretty tight. Maybe that's a good thing!

They work

Easy to install
