I ordered the blanket for the Highland but they sent me one for a different model. I tried to figure out why it didn't fit. I needed it right away so I just wrapped it around the smoker. Wish I had figured it out sooner so I could have returned it. Do better sending the right order!

Best Investment for this smoker

Living on Vancouver Island BC Canada winter smoking and grilling can be like stoking a steam train going up a hill to keep the heat steady. This cover I was able to get temperatures higher then before for grilling and keep a steady smoking temp at 250 -275 without any problems for a longer period of time. This should be supplied with the unit when purchasing, might even keep it on year round as it will reduce the amount of lump charcoal and wood used for grilling and smoking.

Need to think about the reverse flow smokers too

I just got my “jacket” for my highland reverse flow smoker. The site here said it will fit an offset and reverse flow smokers, but it doesn’t fit the reverse flow. The guys took the time to have left and/or right side probes cut in, a “flap” to go under the handle but you couldn’t take the time to make a “flap” for where the reverse flow pipe comes out for the guys that uses smoker that way. Truly awesome product with one tiny observation

I live near boston and for the past 3 winters with highlamd smoker i would put it away around thanksgiving (with a packed freezer of vacuum sealed smoked meats). I bought this jacket a few weeks ago and I am trying it rigjt now as I write this. The fit is perfect, which is always a big winner to me for things this. I'm just about to take off some dry smoked wings I have been smoking fornpast 90 minutes on a 30 degree day. The temp has been so stable that I have not needed to add any charcoal sin...

With the cooler temps in Northern Ohio I was constantly fighting to maintain smoker temp. Wrapped it with this blanket and it helped out a lot with the temp and cut back on wood usage. Really like the flaps for the handle and gauges plus the velcro closure. Used to be pretty much shut down smoking when the weather gets cool. Smoked a pork roast when the temps were in the 30 s and was really impressed. Thank you so much

Exactly what we needed for smoking in Buffalo!

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband. Exactly what we needed to cook on cold winter day in Buffalo! Fits snug, very easy to take on and off, hold heat well. Used last week on a 38degree day and maintained heat the entire cook without loosing heat! A must accessory for our offset smoker

Excellent product!!

Holds the heat in the cook chamber on cold days. I use my smoker all year long and this will make a big difference with the cook chamber temps in the winter
