Didn't make it a year
I bought 2 of these for my patio and one is fine but the other has fallen completely apart. The wicker type braiding snapped on one piece and then started a ripple effect where now it is not even waterproof. Was not sat on or anything just snapped. I wish I could buy just a new top so I can fix but otherwise.....do not buy this
You cannot sit on this as a bench.
This box is really designed for a covered area. I have pool toys to store and it will be fine for that, but i am going to cover with a tarp. The weave looks like it will not keep out a hard rain. Also nothing was mentioned about not sitting on it until we received it. Usually people swimming usually sit on the other deck box i have and that is much more sturdy. On the positive side, it was pretty easy to put together by myself.
Not waterproof
The latches don’t work and it does not provide waterproof protection. Water comes on from the side and from the top when you open the lid. Defeats the purpose of storing cushions
