High quality and simple drain protector

I use this drain protector for my downstairs shower where I wash my dog. It does a great stopping all of the hair and I like how easy it is to clean. It’s also very thin and looks great compared to some of the bulkier solutions. It’s very study and I haven’t seen any issues with rust or discoloration

Yes ladies and gentlemen this is my incredibly old shower. (Please no shaming) and THAT my friends… is not a rat, no, it is my hair…. Also, that is after one ONE shower. That would have been a plumbers gold mine to dig out from my pipes and find great joy in pulling this out. Life before this amazing little guard was a very expensive one indeed due to my luscious locks! If an apple a day keeps the doctor away well then, OXO drain protector keeps the plumbers at bay!

shower drain protectors are a must in my house- it saves cleaning out the drains quite so often, my husband appreciates that! Most importantly it catches 3 long haired girls shedding. It fits well over standard drains. I just wipe it down when I clean the shower and have minimal build up on it.

Doesn’t stay put

Overall this willl work fine, the problem is you will likely kick it so it don’t stop all the hair. It slides around. It is easy to setup and the quality is really good, it’s metal and it doesn’t stain or bend.
