Design complicates installation.

The system for securing the inside to outside components is ill-thought. One cannot see if the all securing barbed clips are properly engaged or if some of them missed their marks. And you only get one shot. Prying them apart again may compromise the clips. The old screw-together models w/ screw hole plugs are more exact and give one a second chance to realign the unit if necessary. Nice update to rear door

This was exactly what I needed to modernize my rear door. My current door had the typical gridlines with raised white molding. I was glad to find this glass option with the smooth paintable molding. I chose the Low-E option which my current glass didn't have. I am happy with my purchase. I suggest watching the installation videos multiple times.
