The NICOR DGC4-SELECT is the perfect 4-inch LED remodel downlight designed for directional lighting. The DGC4 gimbal features twist-and-tilt adjustable lighting with 360° rotation and 25° tilt to highlight artwork and other architectural design features in your home. The DGC4 features 5 built-in color temperatures to choose from, ranging from soft white to daylight (2700K - 5000K). Easily switch between color temperatures using the switch located on the plenum-rated connector that links the downlight to the junction box. The high-performance DGC4 is fully dimmable and features an incredible 95 CRI rating (color rendering index) with an R9 value over 50. This makes the DGC4 one of the highest quality light fixtures on the market. This means that your reds will be brighter, and your blues will be truer, regardless of the color temperature selected. Installation no longer requires a recessed housing or a junction box. Instead, the DGC4 installs directly into the ceiling through a 3.75-inch cut-out using the template provided. The adjustable spring-loaded retention tabs ensure a secure fit directly in the ceiling. The unique design incorporates an off-board driver which allows for a more flexible installation and an increased lifespan credited to the superior heat management system.
