The chrome sink mounted air switch comes with a dual outlet control box and the air switch will control a garbage disposer and a second item such as a trash compactor or a hot water dispenser
Mount the chrome air switch through a 1-3/8 to 1-1/2 inch hole in your sink using the supplied nut and attach the clear tube to the fitting on the outlet box and the other end to the bottom of the switch then plug the dual outlet box in to a 110V outlet

The air switch controls both outlets. One outlet at a time has power. The second outlet is mainly used for trash compactors or hot water dispensers. Normally the disposer would be turned off and your hot water dispenser would be active in the other socket. When the air switch is pushed it would turn the power off to the hot water dispenser and turn on the power to the garbage disposal. When the switch is pressed again the disposer will turn off and the power to the hot water dispenser will turn back on.
