This was badly designed
As a retired plumber all would ever sell was Moen Faucets in building of new homes and as replacements. So, I was looking at a showerhead with a detachable wand I went to Moen. I purchased the 28501 Showerhead. As I installed it and turned on the water to test it, more water came out of the pivot joint at the showerhead than the head itself. I could not get the it stop leaking, even by adding a thicker gasket/o-ring. I'm returning it today for a refund.

Looks good - issues with leaking
I like this combo, it looks nice, the shower head is huge and it really does not show finger prints or smudge. My singular complaint is that even when turned off, the handheld leaks water if the shower is turned on. I think it's shouldn't do that. Overall, very happy - that's just annoying!

Don’t even think about buying this POC For starter it isn’t “Chrome”, it’s shiny plastic But far worse the “Pause” button isn’t a button at all, but a switch that SHOULD pause the handheld unit but merely turns it down a bit. It’s terribly engineered and Moen refuses to let me return it or give me a refund. I’ve been a big fan of Moen products but no longer.

Short people celebrate
This product is just what I needed. The adjustable hand-held shower means no more straining to reach it. It has the power I need, and when I’m not using the hand-held I can push the button and increase the pressure in the larger head. Appreciate them pointing this one to me after purchase of one with limited pressure.
