Work surprisingly well. Each coat makes the stain a little darker when it dries. Looks great and seems very durable. Dries very fast

Very faint color

I didn’t like color. I would have taken a photo, but I ended up using a darker stain over it. I used this over pine and didn’t notice a difference. Very faint color.

Low odor, fast trying, time saver for indoor projects

Very easy to use and great color

The package recommends to use a brush but I was able to use it smoothly with a roller for my project. The color is very nice and it builds darker with more coats . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Minwax One Step was so easy to use. Upon opening the stain, there was minimal odor. Even during the use, I noticed it wasn’t as strong as other products I’ve used. You should always use protective gear when using though. I used 2 coats on these coasters. No sanding needed as they were pre sanded. I appreciate that I don’t have to add an additional top coat to these. They are smooth and the color is beautiful!

Would Buy Again

Great product and would definitely buy again. Application was simple, has a fast dry time, the finish looks great, and it appears to seal well. I used it to stain shelves for my laundry room and there has been no transfer of the stain onto the walls or items on the shelf. Doesn’t level the best but I think that has more to do with the rags used not the stain itself.
