Great Portable Tool
I’ve been using this die grinder for two years in a variety of tasks and it’s always performing just as I plan. It’s great for polishing stainless steel, deburring metal, cutting pipe, and spot polishing your car. It makes formerly tedious tasks, quick and simple.

Solid die grinder
I like the comfort of using this die grinder. It has enough power for the tasks, and doesn’t seem to get bogged down. I wish they had a 36v version to use with the adapter
Well balanced and powerful
I am an owner of many Hitachi power tools with the slide battery. I was in need of die grinder and opted to search for a battery operated unit for my convenience. This Metabo HPT MultiVolt 18-volt Sliding Switch Brushless Cordless Die Grinder is a long thin unit with your large battery on the end - I thought would affect it’s handling. I was surprised to find it did not! The unit has a nice balance and all the power I found I needed! In fact, it has more power than I thought it would have!...

Lots of power
I bought this almost a year ago, it has more power then my snap-on air die grinder. I use this all the time and has been very reliable and it doesn't seam to use the battery too fast. I would highly recommend.

Plenty of power and control
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This die grinder is a beast. It does everything I ask of it and is smooth and quiet. I like the large gripping area of the front which allows for great control, but it's not too large that i can't fit it where I need to. The speed control offers great range for various tasks. Lastly, it is just much quieter and smoother than competing brand's non-brushless tools. I don't even like picking up those tools anymore for my grinding tasks.

Metabo HPT cordless grinder
I can do everything with this grinder I do with my corded Thos grinder has replaced my corded teal grinder. It has plenty of power for using burrs and grinding stones. Auto mode, variable speed and a brake are great features. Build quality is excellent as with all of my Metabo HPT tools.

Performs well at a great price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted a variable speed die grinder but they've always been over $300. I got this for $135 on Prime Day and got a rebate for a free 18/36V 8/4Ah which a great addition to my collection and opens the possibility of getting in the 36 V tools. The die grinder works well with no issues though I've only used it a bit. I love the variable speed for various metals and running small wire wheel slowly.
