It doesn't lock!! Bought this safe to travel with me. But it doesn't lock. You don't need a key or code just twist the handle and there you go..Took the batteries out and reset multiple times same thing. This is an appearance only safe

Works as described. Would be better without the turn dial and just opened upon entering code, but again works fine as is.

Doesn't work
Bought in June 2021. Set up it worked fine. In September, I tried to open it, the box wouldn't accept any number codes. The purpose of the box was for quick access without fumbling for a physical key. It failed. Changed to new batteries. Still doesn't work. Only opens using keys, which defeats purpose of lockbox. Cheap junk, this box is.

Great for low use storage
Use this to store my handgun and hunting ammo. I was able to get three boxes of ammo in with my handgun. Just wanted something for when I have company over that I can quickly lock up. Definitely not the highest quality materials but if you don’t intend on using it daily then you may get more life out of it.
