Horrible build quality

Would Not Recommend

Received my door from Lowe’s. Pick up was flawless the staff were incredible. Once i got the door unpackaged and began install I noticed multiple issues with door. To start the hinge mortise on my left lower and right upper hinge are over cut. Lower hinge on right door screws are install crooked and stripped. Upper ball catch was drilled crooked into door slab on both sides. Upper ball catch latch was not mortised into casing. I must have gotten a Friday at 5pm build quality door.

Good door for price

Would Recommend

Good door for a hollow core door. We'll packaged with built in temporary handles for lifting. Will need to paint. You have to notch out the door latch holes.

Double hollow core doors

Would Not Recommend

Pickup was easy, when unpackaged I have 3 out of the 6 hinges that weren’t mitered into the frame and so it pushes the doors tight together. Also the top frame is cut too long and has stress on the side frame going down on the one side.

Double Dipped!!

Would Recommend

So, I gave this a 1 star due to the fact that I have been billed twice for the product initially on May 18, 2026 then again on June 17, 2026. I like the product and it looks great in my space. Lowes just needs to make it right with me and issue a credit for the double charge.

Good

Would Recommend

Good quality door for the price. Installation was straightforward, and the frame was straight with no warping. It’s lightweight since it’s a hollow core, but that’s expected and perfectly fine for interior use. The surface comes primed and takes paint well without any issues. On the downside, sound insulation is average, and you need to handle it carefully during installation to avoid damage
