Door slab and sidelites are professionally finished on all sides including the door jamb and brickmold
It is not recommended to trim steel or fiberglass exterior doors – however, common manufacture trimming limitations are up to 3-in off bottom; up to 2-in off top; any and all trimming voids warranty
