Attic Installation
I got this 12K BTU MrCool 5thGen DIY mini split for my finished attic. Installation was straightforward with no issues. I powered it on this afternoon and so far so good. It cooled the attic down to 78 in a couple of hours with the outside temperature over 90 degrees. I am really impressed on how quiet it is. Got the wifi up and running no problem. This is an important feature for me to be able to control AC while I’m away from home. Very pleased so far.

EL OC Error after 1 season
install in our garage went well. worked great that summer. we have gas heat so not used in the winter. started this year and got error Code. mr. cool said probably a leak and low refrigerant. difficult to find HVAC company to service this brand. no leak found but $1200 to charge system. not worth it
