MMI DOOR Fiberglass Entry Doors are built to last and can add substantial curb appeal to your home. This fiberglass smooth front door unit comes with a limited lifetime warranty on both the door component and the prehung MSystem, as well as a 10-year glass lite warranty. All our fiberglass smooth entry doors are virtually maintenance free and will not warp, rot, dent or split. Our prehung door unit (called the MSystem) seals out the weather and practically eliminates air and water infiltration all together. Door size is 36 in. x 80 in. Unit dimension is 37.5 in. x 81 in. The suggested rough opening is 38 in. x 81.5 in. This unit comes with a 4-9/16 in. wide primed composite frame.

I've built exterior and interior doors (with frames) for over 10 years and have never seen a more poorly built frame. At the bottom of the jambs where they meet with the outswing composite sill was poorly cut and secured. If you're going to use PVC jambs, then pre-drill holes and use screws to attach the sill. There were a dozen staples in each side and they were barely penetrating the sill. I first had to repair the frame before installing it. On top of that, the mini blind insert has a faulty ...

Frustrating experience but there is hope

First, let me be clear in saying that the Lowe's employees I worked with were helpful and friendly. Now, on to the product. The item was to be delivered to the store by 9/18/2023. I had not received any updates as of 9/18/2023 so I contacted Lowe's customer care who went above and beyond to contact the vendor. Disappointed to see after taking the door out of the cardboard box, that the frame is mostly composed of pressed particle board and not solid wood. Maybe termites will avoid particle board (I'm not sure) but moisture is not friendly to it. Otherwise, I am satisfied and it was easy to install.
