Great idea but didn't work as well as expected.
It didn't stick as well as it should've. It was also difficult to click into place. I ended up trashing it and replacing it with a transition strip that could be nailed down.

Visually Appealing Accessory to New Flooring
We purchased and installed new carpet and vinyl flooring nearly throughout our house, excluding only areas that already had ceramic tile. In addition to protecting seams, the floor reducer makes a visually appealing transition from carpet to vinyl or vinyl to ceramic tile. Very nice.

Not easy to install
It does not just snap into the channel as described on the packaging’s directions. It directs you to apply the adhesive strip to the floor first and wait ten minutes before snapping in the transition strip. Does not snap in! I had to remove the adhesive strip from the floor and then snap it into the channel. Used floor adhesive to reapply to floor. Poorly made product.
