Shuts off automatically, bought two, same problem
Defect of maybe a self protection thing.... regardless, this flashlight will shut of on you by itself, leaving you in the dark. Otherwise, its a good flashlight. Stay away from this product, or you will be left in the dark! fresh batteries will extend the time before it shuts off by itself.

Came with dead batteries in the to flashlights. 1 hardly stays on with new batteries.
