The tape seems to be made well, probably great for an inside the shop tape. 2 months working in weather completely rusted out and the numbers just peeled away

Good so far
The tape is good and it feels well made. Time will tell. I did a pick up at Lowes after buying it online. The tape was a bit damaged on the casing, but this is Lowe's not Lufkin.

Mine broke
I like that this tape has a 14 ft. stand-out although that may be pushing it a bit. Unfortunately, the tape itself is not very durable and mine eventually developed a little slit in the metal that got progressively worse (and dangerously sharp) until it finally broke off after only a few month's use.

The standout on this tape is great, however it has no benefit above any other tape in windy conditions. It will not retract on its own since day 1 . The bolden black color at every foot is an eyesore i shoulda bought a different tape
Broke within 3 months; Weak rewind
After just 3 months of light (homeowner) use, this Shockforce 25' tape stopped rewinding. I had to dismantle it to free up the jam. Still it only rewinds half-heartedly. Even when new, this tape would rewind with less than 50% the force of the Stanley FatMax that I replaced (lost it somewhere). In fact, the Lufkin Control Series 25' that I leave in the truck rewinds better and costs $10 less than the Shockforce 25'.
