What Customers Are Saying
The product offers a wide range of brightness control and smooth operation with incandescent bulbs. However, some users have experienced issues like flickering and insufficient dimming when using LED lights. The quality of the product is mixed, with some finding it well-made and others perceiving a cheap, plastic feel. Overall, the product's performance may vary depending on the type of bulbs used.

Causes flickering .
Causes flickering when used with LED disk 15 watt fixtures. Allegedly rated 450 watts LED. There is only 165 watts load on the switch. Fixtures only dim to about 50% and flicker. The fixtures are Sunco 5/6 LED disk 1050 LM, 5000K Daylight, Dimmable 15w = 75w, Damp rated.

Great!
Exactly the use I was going for! These are a little plasticy feeling (I would pay more for a more solid feel) but overall love the look and user interface / functionality. Will be purchasing more :)

Great dimmer---buy it right the first time.
We like the on/off toggle and the ability to leave the dimmer setting where you prefer it. Also like how the wires mount to the switch. You do not have to bend them around a screw. Just insert the stripped portion straight in and tighten down. Easy. I replaced all three older style dimmers with these. And compatible with LED bulbs.

Doesn’t dim very much
Bought this for my new house. I have overhead can lights in my living room that are way too bright. There is very little dimming available with this item. It is still too bright even when dimmed as much as this item will allow. Checked the website at Lowe’s where I punched it but did not see another one like this brand which was the only one rated for 400 watts that might have more dimming qualities. Also didn’t see one rated for more than 400 watts.

switch cracked and flickers
The plastic slider on the dimmer broke after sround a year. Even with a dimmable LED bulb the light would flicker quite a bit. I replaced with another brand which was cheaper and worked much better with the same LED bulb.

Screws are too short
They work fine, but you better have the correct gauge wire to fit in the hole because if you happen to have thinner wire than 14, and you have to wrap it around the screws, and you are out of luck. The screws are very short and barely (I mean barely) hold onto the wire. Had to search my jars of screws to find one that would hold down the freaking ground screw. A simple 5 minute job turned into an issue.
We are sorry to hear that you experienced difficulties with wiring this dimmer. The back wire application should have no problem with 12 or 14 gauge ...
too bright even after adjustment
i have 4 recessed led lights in living room. even after adjusting the wheel behind cover, the lights are at about 50 percent bright. this dimmer is better for incandesent bulbs. not that great for led's.

Sorry to hear this dimmer is not working as expected. The dimming rage is actually depended on the bulb, not the dimmer (this is the case with all br...
