If I could give my experience in purchasing the drain kit and the tub ZERO stars, I would. Items were purchased in March. Tub was delivered in May and after numerous calls to Lowe’s and the vendor, I was able to pick up the drain kit in June. Lowe’s kept telling me it hadn’t shipped yet blaming the vendor. Shipping has been delayed 3xs

I ordered this product along with the tub on April 23. It’s been over a month and I continue to get emails that I have a new delivery date because the shipping has once again been delayed. When I call the store to inquire they don’t know why it continues to be delayed. So if you have an upcoming bathroom remodel I highly suggest ordering what you need at a minimum of 2 to 3 months ahead of your project or order from somewhere else!

Tub

One of the stands to hold up the tub is damaged. I would like a discount. The delivery guy took pictures of the damage.

Love the dial

The chrome is mirror like so be prepared for that but I love that you turn the dial to open and close the drain.

Wrong Material & Expensive

The Cable Operated Waste & Overflow set was purchased when ordering a 60" Corner Tub. The photos indicate PVC material and most installations these days are PVC material, not ABS. The kit received was the right color trim (oil-rubbed bronze), but ABS (black) was the material type. Looks great - Slow drain when tubbing

I am disappointed that I only found one review that this drain SLOWLY drains water when filled up. With such high reviews, I proceeded without much concern and only found this after I installed it which means it is staying. Water does not drain super fast when trying to use the bath, but it doesn't fully seal the tub which is basically it's only job. I called Laurel and the very nice lady I talked to sighed and said that she hears this frequently. The price of this item is too high to only do it...

Well designed and robust drain control

This drain comes with all the plumbing components you need aside from sealant a short length of pipe. The top handle also doubles as an overflow drain so some thought has gone into the design. The quality is top notch and there's even a ball joint PVC fitting which I'd never seen before that ensures good alignment between plumbing sections.
