Don’t buy this piece of overpriced junk.

Worst product I’ve ever purchased. It won’t shut properly after opening. Seriously, who designed this? I don’t have the original boxes but I’m going to attempt to take them back to my Lowe’s. I was hoping this would be a useful feeder. 1 star is more than it deserves.

Lid stays open-

My husband fiddled with the tightness of the screws and nuts to make the lever open and close. It worked for a short time and now it again remains open. My goal of course with this particular feeder was to keep the food dry.

Great Outdoor Feeder for Ducks

I love that I can keep the chicken/duck feeder out in the run so that I can also keep the water outside (this way my ducks can't get the coop all wet!) The only reason I didn't give the item 5 stars is because I have to manually bend the side flaps in because they wing out just enough to get caught on the pedal currently, thus keeping the feeder constantly open.

Not properly put together.

The food cover was bent out just enough that when the pressure step was released it wouldn't go back down without adjusting it.

Nice looking, but cheaply made

When you sacrifice functionality over esthetics, you get a poorly made, but nice looking product. The metal is to thin, and some bolt holes don't line up. If my grand daughter didn't think it was the "coolest" looking feeder, I'd have sent it back. There are much better step feeders out there.

I don’t recommend this product.

The product gets stuck shut and the chickens can’t get to the food. I’m going to be returning this product, since it’s unreliable.
