Landworks Manual 7 -HP Gas Wood Chipper, 3-in Maximum Branch Diameter

Won't start

First, the engine manual does not say how much oil it uses, so I have a huge puddle of oil to deal with. When it stopped draining, I filled the fuel tank with fresh gasoline, set the controls per the manual and pulled the recoil started about 20 times - no start. Checked the manual - USELESS. Manufacturer is useless. Catch-22. Since I've put oil and gas in it, I can't return it.

Easy to assemble. But stalls frequently.

The chipper was easy to assemble and get running, but it stalls a lot, even with nothing being fed into it. Not the quality that I expect for $600. When it is running, it handles most sticks and small branches like a champ, unless they aren't straight.

Nice Little Chipper

The chipper was well packaged in a way that made sense. The chipper was easy to put together. It took maybe 15 minutes. I added gas and oil and it started on the first pull. When I bought it, I thought it might be useful to mulch leaves with it. It does not mulch them down enough to bother with. That wasn't my primary reason for purchasing, so no big deal. As a chipper it does an excellent job. If you need a small chipper I recommend it.

Buy a bigger one

*Starts and stops with zero issues. *Wheeling it around by the handle is very awkward. *Easy to put together *REALISTICALLY only good to feed straight branches that are 1.5"s big that have ZERO leaves on it. Or else, your face and hands will be close to the feeder as you constantly pull and push the branch through. *By a bigger chipper that has atleast a 5" feeder. If not, you'll waste alot of time, energy, and gas. As you say to yourself you should've spent the extra money on a bigger one.

Put together had few bolts strip. I contacted the company from paperwork provided. Used not even 1 tank of gas kept clogging where actually had to take shoot off to unclog it. Not fresh cut wood either. Nothing large either. So not sure. Delivery was great. Was updated on where package was and delivered. Was able to return unit no issues. Thought the size was gonna be to small but 1st few branches i was like awesome. Then started clogging not sure if side shoot design or ...

Good not great!

Good for small jobs. Not great for bigger, crooked branches. Does not like anything bigger than a 2 inch diameter. Does not like live tree branches.

Powerful and so fun to use! I did a lot of research before buying a chipper for my lot in town where I have lots of overgrown shrubs that have turned into trees: lilacs, forsythia, red osier dogwood, rhodies, shrub roses, beauty bush, and a huge apple tree that requires yearly pruning . This machine just chews them up and spits them out. I know better than to expect it to do anything more than 3" in diameter - I would use that size for recreational firewood anyway. I am a 67 year old country...
