LG 5.8-cu ft Upright Freezer ( Platinum Silver ) ENERGY STAR Certified

I caught this item on sale.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit worked very well after I purchased it before it started to make noise and stop cooling. All in less than 2 years of purchase.

Stylish, compact, and freezes great....

I absolutely love my upright deep freezer. The perfect size that I was looking for..

It never worked. It shuts off and doesn't restart. It never cools down inside for more than a few hours.

Garage freezer

Plenty of space and we stacked a small cooler on top in the garage

Cannot adjust shelves. Frost is impossible to control I even bought frost-control pads for the shelves, but still the shelves end up with so much ice and frost, my freezer looks like a snow playground. it is dented

it is dented and pulling away in the back

Absolutely not frost free

Full of frost The only reason we chose this one was for frost free. And it is not. I highly recommend you don’t buy it,

Small stand up freezer

The door shelves are super small so you can really only put things like a pack of hotdogs in the door shelves or similar small items. Still great. Had a bottom drawer that is meant to catch water during defrost. I use it for bags if vegetables without an issue. Figure if I need to thaw the freezer I'd just move them.

Poor quality and immoveable (and bowed) shelves.

We purchased this refrigerator because we love our other LG products...but this was disappointing. The overall size is okay--we wanted something smaller--but I didn't think to check that the shelves can not be shifted. Each pair of shelves are made from a single piece of material and curved to form the two shelves. They each have their own cooling mechanisms attached to them as well (or maybe it's a drain for auto-defrost?), so we aren't realistically able to remove one set. Additionally, each s...
