What Customers Are Saying
The product offers a large capacity and effectively cleans clothes, including handling large items like comforters. However, some users have experienced issues with the water level not adequately covering the load and the machine going out of balance, leading to less effective cleaning and excessive wrinkling. A few customers have also reported mechanical failures within the first couple of years. Overall, the product performs well for most users, but proper leveling and load size management are recommended to get the best results.

Reader beware, you're in for a scary tale... of disappointing product quality and downright AWFUL customer service. We purchased our new LG washer/dryer set a mere 2 months ago, after much research and in-store comparison. We opted to purchase at Lowe's for their Veteran's discount - likely our first mistake. I also advise new appliance purchasers to wait a hot minute before posting an online review. For the first six weeks we had the machine, I was pleased as PUNCH! The washer was very quiet...
Has a large learning curve
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 78 years old and find myself challenged each time I buy a new appliance. I printed off the on-line manual info (the hard copy booklet was worthless). It must have taken me six wash days with the manual in hand before I felt confident I had the sequence of setting selections mastered. I had to read and highlight the manual for about 15 minutes before I would start a load. My major mistake was that I was pressing the modifier and options...

Great Washer, Poor Installation by Lowes
I’ve had this washer for over a year now and have run various kinds of loads. PROS: Excellent washing performance overall and more gentle on clothes than my prior agitator washer. It is fairly quiet. Since there are only 2 of us and this washer has a large capacity, I do a mixed load of sheets, underwear and towels. The machine would often get out of balance on this load and after trying to rebalance for a while, it would just stop. I found that pressing the “Water Plus” once when doing...
Buyer beware
There is but 2 of us in the household & we have few loads of wash per week. Even though it was more expensive than many comparable units we looked at. The WT7600HWA washer was highly rated by Consumer Reports & we decided to take the leap of faith and make the purchase Several weeks ago, the shaft that connects from the clutch mechanism to the agitator snapped in half. It took 2 weeks to get a repairman out and after examining the issue he said he had never seen this happen before in an LG pro...

The most infuriating machine I've dealt with.
This machine is infuringatning. Right off the bat, you can't select load size, which is annoying at best. At worse we put a small pre soaked load in and the machine would not stop filling. Which makes me assume that the machine uses weight to determine load size. WHICH IS THE DUMBEST THING EVER, SINCE WEIGHT HAS LITTLE TO DO WITH SIZE. Of course I don't know this for sure since the manual doesn't go into detail about how this dang thing works. Speaking of soaking cloths, it's IMPOSSIBLE to do ...

Broke after 9 months and flooded my house
LG didn't post my review, so I'm submitting it through Lowe's, where I purchased it. I bought this machine in March 2020. I was decently satisfied with it, except that I always had to use the "Deep Fill" setting because otherwise my clothes weren't submerged and they didn't really get clean. But I figured out how to manage that. In late December 2020, I walked into my laundry room and found an inch of standing water in the laundry room and it was partially in the adjacent kitchen. It appear...

Good washer
I have had this washing machine for almost 5 years. I bought the extended warranty on it, and I am glad I did. The pump that pumps the dirty water out is bad. Luckily it happened just before the warranty ran out so they are going to repair it at no cost. I like the washing machine, it has a lot of good features, but I wish that it had a soak cycle that you can leave it soaking as long as you want, like overnight. You can only soak something for 30 minutes. The spin cycle on this machine, spins ...

Do Not Recommend
I absolutely would not recommend purchasing this washer. I’ve owned mine for 4 years, and it is rusting around the top of the machine. I have followed all of the manufacturers instructions, and I always leave the lid open to allow it to dry out after use. I purchased the extended warranty, and I’ve had to have it looked at twice because the machine does not stay “balanced”when doing the smallest load of towels (4-5), or a single set of queen size sheets, even though I make sure the items are eve...

Everything you need!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my washing machine for three weeks now. I use the machine everyday. I really like the variety of wash cycles available. I also really like the six different motions this washer uses (depending on cycle). The cleaning motion within the normal setting (as well as other cycles) is powerful. This is reassuring as I know the clothing rubbing against each other is giving them the best possibility of stain removal and cleanliness. My reaso...

All mechanical components failed first year
We bought this washer last November and initially liked it. However, it started making a funny noise in September so we called LG to request a repair under the one year warranty. Here is a timeline of how our ordeal has transpired thus far: 9/23 - Called LG to report the noise and request a repair. They asked for a detailed description of the sound. My wife did her best but they said it was not enough and refused to come out. 11/6 - Called LG and provided a recording of the sound. LG ga...
