Kreg 6-in VersaGrip 300-lb Trigger Clamp

Strong and easy

This is surprisingly easy to use for as strong as it is. When taken apart, it’s easy to get back together. This is the first I’ve tried a Kobalt product and will be purchasing more in the future.

Easy to use

My husband loved how easy this was to use. It’s light weight, amass and holds strong. It came in handy while working on renovating our pantry. Said he wished he’d had one sooner when he was redoing one of our other rooms.

Great clamp

This clamp is really easy to adjust with one hand. It was gentle on a small repair project I had in addition to the heavier duty clamping I expect. It’s also fairly easy to reverse the clamp head for spreading using the push button.

Highly recommend

This is super versatile. Using this clamp to hold small and large pieces still. It can also be used with other pieces of the brand to help versatility a breeze. Very durable and easy to use. It’s a great value!

Nice

Really nice clamp quick release handle gives a nice wide adjustment and can be pared up with your other kreg tools. I like the rubber clamp ends so doesn’t damage your project

Quailty without compromise

The kreg trigger clamp has a really slick finish in a matte look. This clamp is long enough to clamp a 4x4 and 2 2x4s to fasten screws. I used these to build a fence gate. The clamp is super light weight and versatile. The durability seems on par with kregs brand. Everything i have used from kreg is top notch. Highly recommend these for your next project

Solid mid-sized clamp

This is a great medium-sized clamp. Quick-release lever, reversible jaws - basically what you’d expect from a clamp like this. The jaws angle in slightly at the top, so they are not set at right angles like a Bessey clamp. There is some sort of integration with the Kreg pocket hole jig, but I don’t have one, so I didn’t use this feature. Overall, this is a good clamp.

Push button has problems but I like it!

I received this versagrip trigger clamp courtesy of Kreg and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The button arrived jammed, though it showed I could reverse it. Took me quite a while to get the button unjammed (took apart, and was able to unstick the mechanism that was not working). I was able to eventually reverse the clamp to demonstrate this DOES work. I would suggest, if anyone encounters this, to take the back of a screw driver and whack the push button a few times. This is quite ...

Great quality and

This is an excellent quality clamp. Sturdy, very functional and reliable. Compared to other much cheaper versions this is perfect for big projects. Highly recommend.

Practical and heavy duty

This trigger clamp is very useful for my husband’s work. He works in construction and uses this tool a lot. One of the best usage during installation of the kitchen cabinets, it helps to clamp kitchen cabinets together. Also, for cutting specific pieces of wood, it helps to keep sturdy in one place during cut. This trigger clamp has ergonomic material, holds tight the material used, easy to operate and multi functional. This tool a bit weighty but heavy duty which is good in construction work.
