great when used as intended.
This tool works great on the vinyl/pvc trim. If you are cutting wood, its harder to use. If you dont get rhe cut perfect, use a dab of caulk. It saves me a lot of time when putting down quarter round and saves my legs from having to get up and down a million times.
Miter Snips
I was a bit hesitant to buy these because of the negative reviews. I don't know, I'm not an expert, but I think these work pretty well. I think there might be a little design flaw in that the bar that goes across the bottom plate is kind of lose and causes the wood to not line up correctly. Perhaps I can straighten that out with a screwdriver to tighten it up a bit. I haven't tried to cut anything other than a couple of 1/4" and 1/2" wooden dowels, and I found that when making 45 degree cut...

great idea but doesn't work as intended..you can cut angles but never perfect...this one the blade chipped on shoe moulding
Absolutely terrible
This was my first time using Kraft's miter snips. Usually I just install quarter round with a miter saw, which gives a nice clean, accurate cut. I thought this might make the job faster and with minimal mess. It did not. First, quarter round doesn't really fit into the snips and you can basically forget about cutting it for a job. You can actually cut at an angle (say 45 degrees), but it's not an accurate cut. The blade basically 'bends' and produces 45 degree cuts that are slanted. When ...
