Needs higher airflow to operate high volume tools
Perfectly fine for most uses but this does not have the airflow to run a 1/2" impact.
Press and release the button and these work great.
Great universal quick connect! It took me a minute to figure out that you can’t pull out (disconnect) your air hose unless you RELEASE the button after pressing it, but once I figured it out I was very pleased with the simplicity. (I was trying to pull out the connected hose while pressing the button, and I thought it was stuck.) You can connect your air hose without pressing the button. Just insert and go. Easy one handed operation.
Just what I was looking for
Perfect thought it may be weird with button push but all in all nice tool
Broke in 2 days
The unit was installed and worked great for 48 hrs, then it would no longer all air to flow through properly. Basically, the male pneumatic adapter will no longer stay seated in the quick coupler.
The coupler broke after 3rd use
I really liked the idea behind this product. I wanted to love it and i did for the first couple uses. Unfortunately the coupler stopped working after the third use. At first i thought there could be no way and tried different hoses and even a different compressor to see if it was either of those. After attaching a different coupler i came to the conclusion that the problem was the coupler. Easy but not air tight
This kobalt coupler hooks up easily but is not a no-brainer, when we are working fast and trying to be efficient with many things going on at the job site, you want to be able to couple and uncouple your guns without thinking. This one requires a bit of thought, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it means that you have to sometimes stop what you're doing (every second matters on the job site) and twist it and fiddle with it to get it to truly suck on.
A Must For Any Air Compressor
Works really well and it actually has a two stage plugin and release engagement. When full plugged in and you hit the button once it will release the hose just far enough to release the air pressure. Press again to fully release the hose. Prevents the hose from flying out of the coupler.

Higher-volume tools, such as a 1/2" impact wrench, typically require more airflow than a 1/4" coupler can provide.
