Seems to sharpen things alright, tried it with kitchen knifes, hunting knife, and a machete, and they all came out sharper for the most part. Though, the suction cup is unusable on surfaces that aren't perfectly smooth, it's sharpening range is a bit limited, and it seems like it could probably be made a lot more compact. But overall, it works for the price

The suction cup works great, but the sharpener couldn’t sharpen any of the knives. I finally bought a whetstone which works great!
