What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this electric string trimmer for its powerful performance, lightweight carbon fiber design, and exceptional ease of use. The 80V battery delivers impressive runtime—many complete a full acre on a single charge—and recharges in about an hour. Users highlight the quiet operation, minimal vibration at full cutting width, and low maintenance compared to gas models. The adjustable handle accommodates various heights, and the intuitive trigger-based controls make it accessible even for first-time electric tool users. A few note minor quirks with assembly or the speed loader, but these are vastly outweighed by overall satisfaction and reliability.

48 volt Review

Would Recommend

I use a 48volt trimmer, not listed, and LOVE it. I can trim my entire hillside yard w/ tons of things to trim around on 1 charge. takes me about 2 hours. Easy to restring, very lightweight, easy to operate, and very durable. Heads can be changed per job, works just as well.

I use this about 1hr a month, battery last maybe 30 min. I have replaced the string one, now the head has burnt out.

Cool tool.

Would Recommend

This thing is awesome. Lightweight and powerful. Plenty for my sub-acre yard. Definitely on par with more expensive gas ones, but basically with zero maintenance.

Going electric was a great choice.

Would Recommend

I recently picked up a Kobalt electric weed eater, and it’s been a great addition to my yard tools. Right out of the box, it was easy to assemble and felt solid—not flimsy like some other trimmers I’ve used before. What really stands out is how well it performs. It has plenty of power to handle thick grass and weeds without bogging down, and it cuts clean and evenly. It’s also lightweight and well-balanced, so I can use it for longer periods without getting worn out. The battery life is impres...

Speed loader isn’t that speedy

Would Recommend

Assembles easily. Easy to use. Maneuverable. Not too heavy. Speed loader isn’t as easy as they would suggest in their marketing material.
