Extremely bright and extremely focus. I can literally use this to see clearly a block away at night... On the other hand, it's not useful indoors unless you need just a small spot lit up, or maybe you're working on an engine and you need to light up one area brightly. What would be nice would be a diffuser to spread that center focused light out evenly across the rest of the illuminated area. Then this would work great indoors....
