It simply does the job.
This sledge hammer is not over-engineered, isn't gimmicky, and isn't flashy...and it doesn't need to be. It simply does the job and does the job well. The dual purpose head with a flat side and wedge side allows you to work more efficiently since you don't have to switch between tools for different tasks. I was able to break up a large, old yard fountain with minimal effort, allowing me to remove smaller, lighter pieces at a time. It worked perfectly and held up well.
