Tool Side pressure will not stay at set value

I bought this compressor last year and have used it for inflating tires and it worked great for that function. In this last week I have tried to use it with a brad nailer and it is terrible. I set the outlet pressure to my desired value, but after nailing one or two nails the outlet pressure drops by 20 to 30 PSI. Used for pool closing

We’ve used this compressor to close the pool each winter and it’s done the job with ease. We have a 20,000 gallon pool. With the added attachments, sold separately, we hook it right up to the filter and blow out the lines. It was also used for building our deck and has plenty of power to drive in nails into pressure treated wood.
