Short battery life

This blower works for only 10 minutes then the battery needs to be rechargered. It’s a waste of money

Don't Last Long.

I had first one replaced because it didn't work but twice. The second one has been used about 5 times and is less then a year old and battery/charger has quit working.

This is a helpful tool for removing leaves from a dry surface and convenient due to being battery powered. I purchased this blower because (1) I already owned the Kobalt 40-Volt Max 24-in Dual Cordless Hedge Trimmer which came with two batteries and (2) the blower was marked down to $30.00. Good for home use and easy for the wife to operate.

Perfect for camping

Great blower, purchased this blower to take in our camper, Great for blowing your camping rug, and blowing off the Awning.

Short battery life

Battery life is 10-15 minutes!!! Very dissapointed. Volume is adequate.

Kobolt 40 volt leaf blower.

Easy to use, light weight. Battery needs more frequent recharges. Need 2 batteries if you have a large area to blow leaves.

Battery has a short life span maybe 3 years.

I use the blower and a trimmer and interchange the batteries. In just over 3 years I have had 2 batteries fail during recharging. Do to the high replacement cost of the battery $99.00 each. I will probably switch to gas.

Works OK on smooth surfaces, not so well on grass

This is a good tool for blowing dry leaves and grass off of your driveway or patio, and can also be used to blow clean truck beds, garage floors etc. but it gets a little challenged when blowing on dry grass, and forget about using it on wet grass. The battery lasts about 16 min at 2/3 throttle (I zip tied the lever and timed it). It blows almost as hard at 2/3 as at full throttle. I ended up returning it because I need something that performs on grass. I plan to try out the new medium duty blow...

Was tired of the heavier 2 cycle gas blowers - last couple I had were Husqvarna (RIP), so I gave this cordless one a try. Lighter weight & good velocity on a full charge - the CFM's diminish as the charge is depleted. Recharges in ~ an hour. Can't quite finish sidewalks and driveway on one charge, but I have a second LI battery from the Kobalt hedge trimmer I bought a couple years ago. I'm happy with the hedge trimmer, but I would not have bought this blower if the LI batteries were not inter...

Last years model.

Good price and typical Kobalt instant start no hassle use. Only complaints are it is heavy-ish to hold in one hand and at 40v max power, it produces a shrill pitched sound. Still glad I bought it vs gas or 100-ft extension cord.
