love this impact still holding strong after 4years same for the battery and charger! one of the smartest buys I bought! I'm a full-time diesel mechanic and run a small business here locally where I live and this bad boy has saved me multiple times over the years! I have a open box video I attached to show u what's all in the kit, I highly recommend!

Good price

Had bought this back in 2019. Looks like they have a newer model. Sadly mine worked great til just now. Motor sounded weak and every time I would remove a bolt or tighten, it would stop and switch and go the other direction. Called customer service hotline and was able to go in the store with a approval number and they swapped me a new tool. Downside was I had to call customer service and waited a bit. They were able to grab my receipt from 2019. It's now 2024. So tool almost lasted 5 years.

The good, bad and ugly

I'm a weekend mechanic, though for a looong time. I am used to all kind of tools. Regarding impact I have a compressor and a 1200ft/lbs air wrench as reference. Plus an electric 12v cigar socket impact wrench with a gauge. I used this new wrench here for maybe a couple dozen bolts in 6 months. Great impact - save your receipt just in case

Has plenty of torque. Has been able to break loose almost everything thrown at it. After working with it for about 2.5 years trigger switch started not to work properly and eventually stopped working completely. Since it was a gift did not have an original reciept. After getting ran around from store to 1888-3kobalt and back finally found someone at the store willing to make good on the tools warranty promise. Don't judge Economy Impacts by it's color

I was skeptikal about using a Economy Impact. Working on a Dodge Truck Spindal that normally would only break with a 40" breaker bar. The Kobalt Impact Shined with removal of the Spindal Nut with ease. Very impressed and would deffinatley recomend this tool.
