Overall the tools fit snugly in their spaces and the box is awesome because all you have to do is look and you'll know if something is missing..the tools are quality made.nice variety of different sockets the case is nice and flat so you don't take up allot of space in your trunk...you can't beat the bang for your buck with this set. I do suggest though that if you don't already have other tools that you get vice grips,channel locks and a few extra extensions to go with this set other than that ...

Lowe's has the best customer service around by far. I have had this tool kit for about 8 years my case it came in broke I call them and tell them figured I would have to pay for a replacement which was no problem but they said they would ship me one at no cost. the tools them self are top notch I have been using them on a daily basis and have never had 1 problem with them great tools at a great price

A Quality Set

I recently purchased this 200-piece set, and have already used it for lawn mower repairs. Features that I like: 1) The tools seem rock solid, are highly polished, and the rachet increments are small and smooth. 2) The case, when closed, stands upright so that the storage room required is minimal. 3) The latches are rubber instead of plastic. Good Set, No 6pt 1/2 inch deep sockets, Poor Case

The tools seem to be very good quality and feel like they will last a lifetime. More importantly, there are no 6pt 1/2 inch drive sockets, but that is not clear from the minimal information in the listing on the website. Sadly the case they arrived in is MUCH larger than necessary, and feels very cheap quality. I suspect it won't last half as long as the tools. A better constructed, smaller, more storable/transportable case would have served this set much better.

Best bang for the money

My local store was out of stock on this item. So I ordered through Lowe's on line. I can see why the store was out of it. Fabulous Quality Wrench Set Ruined by Flimsy Case

I am a huge fan of Kobalt tools. This set was, hands down, the finest quality socket wrench set I have ever had the pleasure to use. I have no doubt the sockets and wrenches will last beyond my lifetime. This is why it is so sad that such quality can be ruined by a flimsy plastic handle that broke off the second time it was lifted. Best take along set ever!

I love this particular set. I've owned several sets similar to this, but they all had flaws that were really frustrating, such as putting everything back in it's place only to hear it all scatter when you pick it up. Kobalt tools are easy on the eyes and have a lifetime warranty. If I have to pick something as a "con" it may be the fact that the case holds the tools a little too firmly. Very useful, and quality tools for automotive

This is an excellent product with great value; It's very easy to open and close, and great for transportation - I even leave it open in my trunk sometimes to just have a little tool shop in the back of my car whenever needed. It's hinges seem strong however the clips that seal it closed are made out of rubber which can be nice for some situations but it's not a real strong tension snap like some of the high price tag cases for sockets and tools.

I already have a complete set of tools but am often frustrated with everything not contained in one toolkit. This set is very well organized, has most of what I need and easy to throw in the trunk. I now use this as my primary set and use the other set when this one doesn't have the necessary tool. The ratchets are far superior than the craftsmen ratchets.
