Was searching for reversible 15 degree angle ratcheting wrenches when I came across these. I've had one kobalt measuring tape go wrong on me (easy exchange no questions asked) otherwise I'm picky about my kobalt products as some are not as durable of a material (pliers and cutters longevity etc...) but! I bought these for a project I was working on that required a lot of disassembly and reassemble after parts replacement. These wrenches are well constructed and sturdy. I bought the SAE and Metric set because I plan to use them for a long time and on multiple projects which contain both types of nuts and bolts. Good For The Most Part If You Don't Mind Rust.

I bought these for use on repairing our motorcycles. There are some places that are just too small for a socket to get in to and these are perfect. Well, 18 of them are perfect. Two of them, the 9/16" and 5/8" are rusting and the chrome is flaking off after less than a handful of uses in 3 months. Poor Quality Control

A couple of the wrenches in the set did not properly ratchet out the box. I went to my local Lowes to attempt to exchange the defective wrenches under the lifetime warranty. Several of the wrench sizes in this set are not sold in the store. The tool associate refused to open a new set to pull the sizes I needed or exchange the entire set under warranty. I found a few sets of these on sale near the plumbing aisles at my local Lowe’s and wondered why they were by themselves. I was hesitant at first but kobalt has never let me down so I picked one set up. I was pleasantly surprised when I got home and saw how good the quality was. Seems like a "light duty" set of wrenches

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a set of these on Black Friday as a backup to my Craftsman set and I needed a set of metric anyway. Used the 10mm for a project and after a few successful bolts, noticed that when using the ratcheting mechanism would "hang up" on return stroke. Inspect before leaving store

I like that these have 90 teeth instead of the typical 72 for working in tight spaces. They aren't reversible which means they also don't have angled box heads. Can't have both; decide which is more important. My set had one of the 12 point rings missing which meant a trip back for a replacement set. And it was a good thing they had a replacement in stock because they replace by return and re-purchase (for same amount) and their system said I paid $49 rather than $69. Plastic is used to retain the ratchet.

Fit and finish is fine, the ratcheting mechanism is held in the ratchet by a plastic ring any perpendicular load will crack that plastic and render the wratchet. there's no lubricant in the reaching mechanism so that will ware out over time. the marking stripe for metric and standard are cool but break clean will take that right off. I've used husky and they do not have this fundamental flaw in its design at around the same price point.

A gift I wish I would have gotten.

My wife said that we had to get my brother-in-law a set of wrenches for Christmas. Well I was given the task of finding a good set of wrenches for him, since I do most of the mechanic work in both of our families.
