What Customers Are Saying

Customers praise this portable table saw as lightweight, foldable, and ideal for small workshops or limited spaces, with many highlighting strong value for home projects and clean cuts through common materials. However, significant concerns emerge around fence alignment—the fence twists out of square when locked, particularly with the extendable table—and build quality issues including warped plastic components, loose screws, and occasional missing parts. While beginners and DIYers report satisfaction, those requiring precision express disappointment. Most consider it a practical, affordable solution for casual use despite these drawbacks.

Trunnion Assembly Out of Alignment

Would Not Recommend

The Trunnion Assembly holds the blade and up an down adjustment. It's a real irritating process to align it. I've never had a new saw be out of alignment but my Kobalt was right out of the box. I'm so tired of Kobalt. When they first offed this line it was good. The last couple of years they keep cheapening it. This was my last Kobalt purchase ever.

It is awesome to have a vacuum hook up to minimize the dust. My previous table saw lasted me over 30 years. I hope this one does the same. It folds up great. Very sturdy and precise. So far it is amazing!
