Crimping dies are precision ground from high-carbon steel
Designed for Western Electric (WE)/Stewart Stamping (SS)-type standard modular connectors (not compatible with pass-thru connectors or Cat7/Cat8 plugs)
Ratchet safety-release and a blade-guard on cutting and stripping knives reduce risk of injury
Full-cycle ratchet mechanism prevents the release of the connector prior to full compression

Cat 6 RJ11 AND RJ45 Crimper
The tool was durable and well made. However, it was very tedious to align the wires and proper orientation for crimping. A pass-through design would be much easier to use.

The self trimming part takes a few tries to figure out properly. Instructs included aren't the greatest. Know what you're doing before you buy.

Solid, Could be a little Better
Having never crimped my own cat6 before, I bought this tool to do that job. It did 95% of it wonderfully and I found it relatively straightforward to use. I will say, however, that it took a little getting used to (probably user error) as I at first cut one of the twisted pair when stripping the outer sheath. I took a star off for two reasons. One, I wish there was a way to lock/hold in place before crimping. It's not hard to keep in place, but just a nice to have. Secondly, and maybe this is ...

Flat cable cutter
There is no way to get to the cable cutter if you are using a long peice of wire that is already in a box you have to use another tool the cutter on this one seems useless unless working on the end of a cable.
