The 2 other parts of this set work fine. The handheld Klein Tools NCVT-1XT Voltage Tester however doesn't work. Must be a faulty internal connection since it doesn't even do the self test beep when pushing the button. Batteries are fine (used the supplied new ones). Unfortunately, this is the 1st time I've used this since getting it June 17th. Electronics returns are only valid for 30 days...

Worked great but sweepstake is a scam.
I bought this and it works great for a good price although I entered to win the give away sweepstakes and they wanted me to send them a password / number from my phone. which sounded like a scam. If someone wins a sweepstake send them that in the mail. So we know if it's a scam or not. Not happy with sweepstake response.

Great addition to tool belt
Purchased this because my so In law asked for help with an electrical problem in their house, pulled it out and plugged it in and it showed hot and ground crossed so just pulled receptacles on that circuit to find a faulty recept. Job done 🤷. Must have tool
Good additional detection devices.
Bought this as a replacement for an older one. So far I've checked out the additional devices to make sure they work, and used the multimeter to find a 12v hot wire for an hour meter install. So far so good. It is accurate for voltage detection and continuity. The range is sufficient for household applications that I intend to use it for.

I have a dead outlet and bought this to test it. The device works fine. When I use it on working outlets it lights up appropriately. It did nothing on my dead outlet which is useful in itself for me. They make fancier versions that test GFCI but I did not need that
