This is an amazing NCVT. I've owned one for 5 years now. A couple bandaids, but everything works fine. It has a bright beam and allows me to find thermal anomalies just by following the beam. The only thing I can't use it for is testing receptacles. The tester point on the end of every other NCV I've used is long enough to fit into the hot side of an outlet. Easily testing the outlet for power without taking the plate off. This tester's end point does not fit into outlets or extend its reach in ...
