A sledgehammer that Thor would be proud to use
This is a very well made tool as I have come to expect from Klein tools. The fiberglass handle has a good feel to it and allows a solid grip to be made while using. I must be getting old because it felt like more than 6 pounds but it sure does the job, It worked well to drive my electric fence posts into my rocky soil as well as the ground rod for the fence energizer. The flat head has a nice large surface area that makes it easy to get a good hit on whatever you may be driving.

Heavy but sturdy
Wow! I was not expecting this sledge hammer to be so heavy. I'm not a big person (5'0) so the weight is the only problem for me. Nice, non-slip grip, and I like that it has two (three?) surfaces for striking: the flat surfaces and the wedge. I also like that there is a collar on the handle to prevent shattering in case of an mis-strike (very likely with an unskilled person like me). My 18 y/o son has already put it to use and said it wasn't too heavy for him. I look forward to getting more use o...

Tough Job Ready
At six pounds, this Klein Sledgehammer is sturdy. It's manufactured with precision from quality materials and excellent craftsmanship. I appreciate the fiberglass handle; it is comfortable, thereby preventing any splitting, excessive vibration or splintering thereof.

Heavy duty blow hammer
Very heavy duty hammer. Will last a long time. Solid construction. Shock absorption handle. Really like the hammer can stand on its head. This will come in very handy.

Heavy duty 6lb sledgehammer
This is a great sledgehammer. Great grip handle(always wear gloves and safely glasses/goggles), used to hammer in nails coming out from a deck staircase. Couple of hits all it took to get it in. One side is solid and opposite side is curved little bit to use as well.
