Delivery issues

Please advise why delivery person left item outside of building. There is touchscreen next to door which could have been used to contact me to let them in to leave delivery in mail room. It is very likely that my purchase will either be stolen or damaged based on where it was left. Please advise how this will be addressed ASAP
