The convection microwave means it’s a larger microwave oven volume perhaps, and stainless steel, and maybe a smaller magnetron, but whatever the design reasons, it’s a weak microwave. Owned for a year and I still don’t know how to use
We bought KitchenAid as it was recommended to us. I would never buy it again. I’ve had it for almost a year and still don’t know how to use the convection or steam feature in the microwave. The guides are useless. I don’t know if I leave the glass turntable in or not, what pans to use, etc, etc. Also I was surprised there is no temperature probe in the lower oven. This was the appliance our builders put in. We didn’t have a choice. Very disappointed in the function of both the microwave and the oven.
