I ordered ice maker in June and kept getting delayed delivery dated until it arrived in August. Easy to set up. Makes great ice. Water filter comes separate.

Good Clear Ice Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kitchen aid under counter ice maker has performed well for 4 months now. We purchased it to replace an “avalon” machine that was un-reparable. It is much quieter,which we like very much. Our only complaint is that the size of cubes are a little small compared to our previous machine. The kitchen aid controls, light, filter and overall ease of use are all very positive.

Good, not great

We were in a vacation home recently with an icemaker of a different brand and it was very cool. Ours has 100 degree air circulating around it at all times. Unfortunately, the pump apparently failed less than 30 days after it was put into service, and was just replaced. Under counter ice maker

It has great efficiency and seems to be a little faster than the older model. I’m happy that I purchased a KitchenAid product again. I I have been using your products for years now.

Don't buy KitchenAid from Lowe's

I paid for the unit, delivery, installation and haul-away. Delivery was more than a month later than scheduled. When they actually showed up, the delivery company said they couldn't handle installation or haul away due to "liability" reasons. When I complained to the delivery company, Loew's first offered a $50 concession and then increased it to $200 as a final offer. I foolishly accepted. Installation and haul-away will cost me more than that.
