Damaged
I ordered the range hood to take advantage of holiday sales and am having it installed. When it was removed from the box, there was a big dent where the chimney meets the range hood. Neither Lowes or Kitchenaid will return and replace. I am now looking at paying to have the dent repaired and the cost could be nearly as high as the original purchase price.

Lights Blink Erratically
Purchased this in Dec 2021. The lights have started to blink erratically over the course of the last 6 months (3 years old). Replaced the bulbs and keep it clean with no luck. Hard to use the lights when cooking most the time. I tried to upload video but won’t allow my to attach the file.

Vented or non vented?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this hood to replace an existing non vented hood. My home has two stories and there is no way to vent through the roof. The one I used to have, had a decorative wooden cover and the build up on it was too hard to clean. I am hoping that this one will be easier to keep clean. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase this hood for our kitchen remodel. Overall, looks good, I didn’t not vent to outside. Purchased charcoal filters. Little difficult to secure but did finally snap in. The only problem, with the charcoal filters in place causes the internal plug to power the controls was short, it doesn’t snap into place. Had to open the hood to see if the wire could be lengthened but unable to get that done. Looks like a design flaw from the company. ...

Great hood

The fan has 3 speeds and the highest power has a lot of suction that holds a piece of paper to the metal. The lights work nicely and it's easy to open and clean.

Good features

It works great with nice features, but the section of “Stainless Steele” that goes from the mid section of the vent to the ceiling looks like crap and cheap. It doesn't match the bottom portion of the vent and hood, which does look like an upgrade appliance.

Not a DIY!
Good product but save yourself aggravation and hire a pro installer.. Issues: You need a very small Torx driver. The one with the package is too big and won’t fit the screws. You will use this Torx driver a lot. The packing includes two wood blocks screwed to the back of the housing. See issue 1, since parts have to be removed to get at the screws holding the blocks. The installation manual is wrong. Do not drill 7/16 holes into drywall for the anchors. Go with a smaller drill size else b...

Hood and Fridge
