It comes with everything you need to mount it. It is easy to install and only took a few minutes to put up. I hung it in my mudroom. I am very pleased with the amount of light it puts out. This is a heavy piece and seems to be very well made, easily installed by following the instructions and to me has that old time look. I do want to get a bulb with a lower wattage than the one in the my picture . My Husband is refinishing our basement and this Sconce looks perfect right next to the Bar
