misleading dimensions
I'm replacing two 72"x80" doors in a local church, taken out by hurricane Helene. I bought Jeld Wen because I'd had good luck with them before. Not so much now. Problem #1 - 3 1/2 month wait. I ordered these doors on November 25th, 2024. Delivery was delayed several times until finally they were delivered yesterday, March 5th, 2025. Three and a half months for delivery. Problem #2 - cheating on door size. The doors clearly state "72x80" on the packaging, which normally indicates two 36" x 80"...

72x80 not correct
Dimensions are not accurate door is 72x78 and that’s with jamb! Unfortunately my builder already installed otherwise I would be returning.

No help from Jeld-Wen. Flawed Constr & Design
Holes for door handle and deadbolt were drilled too close to the glass for any hardware other than a standard deadbolt and simple handle. My electronic deadbolt had to go back. Jen-Weld was not helpful when I emailed them. I don't want to say they were rude because email isn't the best when conveying tone, but they were certainly less than concerned. They told me to contact Lowe's and find a deadbolt that fit. Color (Eclipse) is beautiful, but not fully painted on the window moulding. None...
