Wrong Specs. Manufacturing Errors.
Lowe’s listed specs are currently different than actual product. They show 80” tall with Satin Nickel hinges but door is 79” and hinges are black. I was also disappointed by inaccurate or unacceptable variation tolerances for JELD- WEN millwork. The frame was not quite square and top plate measured less than bottom one. Factory also failed to consistently position and attach hinges. Compared to top one, middle hinge was about 3/32” deeper from edge of door. Bottom one was inset another 3/3...

Nice door
nice door, square, well made, metal. Worst part is the stupid sticker you have to scrape off & maybe even sand. You could install and be done with the plain white door, but no, removing the sticker forces you to paint it and carefully remove the glue so you don't screw up the finished and have it bleed through.

"Super strong"
The person in mill works talked me into buying this fire rated door because it goes in between the garage and the main house. In order to get an insurance deduction, most companies require this type of door. 20 minute fire rating, steel, and self-closing.

Perfect fit!
When we purchased our home there was not a fire rated door from the kitchen to garage. It was a junk interior door with gaps etc. and noted on my inspection report. Once installed the noise reduction from the A/C unit was immediately noticeable. I am excited about the reduction of my electric bill. I can now report this to my insurance company.

Good door, nice hinges.
I liked the spring-loaded hinges to act as a door closer. They were adjustable for the closing tension which worked best.
