This patio slider replaces an Andersen model which did not have low-e glass. Comparing the two products, the Andersen is heavier with a stiffer frame and a base that is metal instead of vinyl. But it was also about 50% more expensive. I needed this immediately and Lowe's had it in stock. It is an excellent product at a reasonable price and will function well for its purpose.
